Hello Jim; I just wanted to
tell you that I think the Shower-Mate(™) is wonderful and is in the category of
"why didn't think of that"? For the first time in over 15 years,
I can stand up and take a shower. I feel like a giant because the shower
head is close to head height instead of miles above me as I sat on my bath
stool. It is so much easier when I travel. Now, I do not have to sit
in the bath tub to take a shower when the hotel or my hostess doesn't have a
bath chair. Thank you for the great invention.
Hi Jim Received my shower
protector yesterday and had my first shower in 17 years standing on 2 legs,
today. WOW, what a feeling.....it felt just brilliant; could have stayed
in there all day long!!! A HUGE THANK YOU FROM A VERY SATISFIED CUSTOMER

Just to let you know that I
received the covers. They were with me on Wednesday, so Wednesday evening
I had my first shower standing up in over 2 years. It felt great!! Hey Dad - Just thought I'd put my
two cents in on the use of the Shower-Mate(™). After undergoing arthroscopic
surgery last week, I was told to not shower until the wrapping was removed,
(which was four days). Anyway, I just shook my head and said okay, knowing
and trusting that the product you developed would allow me t I sure hope that you have a patent
on this. It is terrific for many medical uses.
Hey Folks - I'm here to agree with
Karin and to tell you that it is worth EVERY penny!!!! I've been using
mine now for just under a year. In fact, I saw the shower protector
advertised in and ACA publication and from the there, I contacted Jim on the
pone, bought it and he also told me about the HMM forum. I owe a lot of
inspiration to Jim and stand by his product fervently. He's developed and
sells a great product.

I
ordered the Shower-Mate(™) from you several months ago. We have just returned
from a 3 week trip to Japan and your product has been wonderful.
Previously I was using one of these heavy rubber boot like devices that I had to
pump over 100 times to remove all of the air and cause a vacuum to seal out the
water. I always got wet. Now, I just wrap the ShowerMate™ around my
prosthesis and showering is a breeze. I never had a leak. It folds
up flat and takes up no room at all. Such a simple invention, but such an
excellent convenience.
Since
the Invent of this Shower-Mate(™), I am able to shower on a trip, in an unfamiliar
bathroom, with the added safety of standing on both legs. This has truly
been a gift to all who can use it. It solves one of our BIG problems.

Jim - I received the Shower-Mate(™) as a gift from my best friend today.....and I
felt a sense of normalcy again. Thanks to your simple and yet brilliant
idea. While taking my shower I started thinking about how much more I can
do now. I can travel with no problem, visit family and stay overnight
without worrying about if someone's bathroom layout is compatible for me, and
the way I arrange myself in the shower. It felt good to be able to reach
the shower head while I was standing. I am sure glad I don't have to worry
about showering anymore. I can stand tall in the shower and be HAPPY all
at the SAME TIME. I just wanted to say THANK YOU!!!

Jim - Your invention should be up there with the wheel. Another hurdle
crossed tonight. I took a shower standing on two feet !!! I kept my
stool in the shower, just in case, but after 30 seconds it went through the
shower curtain. it was in my way !!!!!!!! Best shower I had since my
amputation. Your invention is the GREATEST. Thank you very
much. P.S. Shipping was awesome. Ordered it Monday and got it
Wednesday.

Sirs: Your advertising and information about the Shower-Mate(™) is
great and will be a help to many, many people. We have owned an O&P
Company and have many friends who could have really used this appliance. I
can remember their families saying how difficult it was for them to shower
without falling. You are doing a great service to all amputees.

do just the opposite. Well, I'm pleased to say that the wrapping around my
knee stayed completely dry while I enjoyed warm showers. At my recent
visit to the doctor to remove the sutures, I confessed of my showering
adventures and gave him your web site so he can share with other patients.

Jim! I used the shower protector this morning and it is great! It
gets a 10 plus.... I was able to stand up in the shower. My prosthetic
stayed perfectly dry and safe from water. It felt so "normal"
for me to be able to shower standing up..!! Now when I travel, I won't
have to take the stool along. It will be great to take along in the
zip-=lock bag it come with. It folds up nicely and easy to pack.
Thanks again for caring about us amputees and trying to make our life a little
easier!!

adore my shower protector. It's one of the very best gizmos I own.
It made me feel human again in the shower, (not to mention being able to wash my
bum without a struggle.) I have a shower leg, but it's much easier to take
the shower protector away on weekend breaks, etc., than packing an extra leg.
